About Traditional Rabbit Control
Built on Experience, Driven by Passion
Traditional Rabbit Control was established in 1979, originally with a simple focus — catching rabbits.
Over the years, the business has grown into a professional wildlife management service, working with landowners across England. However, the foundation of the company has never changed. At its core, this is still a business built on a genuine passion for rabbiting and a deep understanding of the countryside.
A Lifetime in the Field
This isn’t a service learned overnight — it’s the result of decades spent working on the land.
The business began with an early introduction to ferreting, starting at just eight years old. That same lineage continues today, with the current ferrets descended from those original bloodlines. It’s a reflection of the continuity, knowledge and hands-on experience that defines how we work.
Known for Taking on the Difficult Jobs
Over time, Traditional Rabbit Control has built a reputation for handling challenging infestations, particularly where other methods have failed.
Much of our work involves sites that require a more experienced, practical approach. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all solution, we assess each situation carefully and focus on what will actually work.
A Practical Approach to Wildlife Management
We believe in doing the job properly.
That means understanding the land, the behaviour of the animals and the specific challenges each site presents. Our work is grounded in real-world experience, not theory, and our aim is always to provide effective, long-term solutions.
